Carson just celebrated his 8th birthday on Friday and then Saturday he was baptized. We were the best kind of busy last week. He got a motorcycle for his birthday which he has been asking for for over a year now. He has always had a lot of gratitude in his small frame, even for the small things so when he found out he got a bike the whole night was filled with hugs and thank you's.
Carson is a great example to me. He has SO much love inside of him that even snuggling on the couch with him can be, well, annoying because he tends to smother. He follows after his fathers footsteps with a heart the size of Texas. He doesn't like to see others sad and he loves to help with anything. He made the choice to be baptized and it was a special, special day. After the baptism when he walked into the room he just looked different. It was a great feeling and I am so, so proud of him in a humble kind of way!
And as if they day weren't special enough with just the baptism we threw Cuades blessing in there too, so he is now official :) It was a good thing there was enough priesthood to jump in the circle because at a whopping 20lbs he was a handful. Thanks to all our friends and family for their support.
